A: Cambridge international qualification gives students excellent preparation for their next steps in education, work and life.

 

Q: How many times are IGCSE examinations held per year?

A: IGCSE examinations are held by Cambridge International Examination Board twice per year i.e May/June and Oct/Nov.

 

Q: What is the IGCSE teaching medium in Wembley Academy?

A: We use English as our formal teaching medium. Students are not allowed to converse in other languages or dialects at school aimed at building a strong foundation in the language.

 

Q: What are the qualifications of the teachers in Wembley?

A: Our teaching staffs comprise of native English teachers, former international school teachers, overseas and local university graduates, with minimum 10 years of experience in IGCSE.

 

Q: How many terms are there in an academic year in Wembley Academy?

A: Our academic year runs from January to December, divided into 2 terms.

 

Q: What are the schooling hours at Wembley Academy?

A: Our school hours are as followed:

Mon-Thurs:  9:00am - 3:00pm

Fri               :  9:00am – 2:30pm

                      2:45– 4:45pm (CCA)

 

Q: Is there any formal attire for students in Wembley?

A: Students are required to follow the dress code as below:

Tops         : Wembley T-shirt

Bottoms   : Long denim or cotton
